Has any team ever went 16-0 in the NHL playoffs?
In my recent research on NHL playoff history, I discovered that no team has ever achieved a perfect 16-0 record in the playoffs. The closest any team has come to this flawless run was the 1988 Edmonton Oilers, who finished with a 16-2 record, winning their fourth Stanley Cup. Since then, teams have come close but haven't been able to replicate that success. It's fascinating to see how competitive the NHL playoffs are, as achieving a perfect record seems nearly impossible. It'll be exciting to see if any team can ever break this record in the future!
