Why doesn't the NFL allow fights like the NHL?

This is because, unlike the NHL, the NFL is a contact sport where the action is intense and the potential for serious injury is high. Additionally, the NFL wants to keep the focus on the game and not on the fights, ensuring that the sport remains a family-friendly entertainment option. Furthermore, the NFL has a strong brand and image to protect, and fights would damage this reputation. Hence, the NFL does not condone fighting and takes steps to ensure that it is not a part of the game.
